WHAT AM I UP TO?

• The Dispatch: online news publication with conservative writers but decidedly non-MAGA.  Editor-in-chief David French (French Press Column); the G-File from Jonah Goldberg.

• We The Fallen People by Robert Tracy McKenzie.  A fascinating historical non-fiction exploration of the true foundation of America as a constitutional and federal republic rather than a pure democracy.

• American Rule: How a Nation Conquered the World but Failed Its People by Jared Yates Sexton.  This book explores the ways in which the stories of America's founding and the men who helped to lead it has been, in many ways, mythologized.  It forces you to remove your rose-colored glasses and take a sober look at the sins and injustices that have made this nation great.

• I got accepted to the University of Denver Creative Writing Master's Program!!! Woo hoo! I will start my certificate program with a non-fiction concentration in Jan 2023.  Keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

• I'm making lots of progress with my book project.  It's called AlieNation and is planned for release in late January.  I have some designers working on a book cover and a portion of it going through editing.  Look for a book promotion page coming soon!
